Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَأْخُذَنَّ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ، وَلاَ يَسْتَنْجِي بِيَمِينِهِ، وَلاَ يَتَنَفَّسْ فِي الإِنَاءِ ".
English Translation
Abdullah bin Abi Qatada (upon him be mercy) narrates from his father, Hadrat Abu Qatada (may Allah be well pleased with him), that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: When any of you urinates, he should not hold his private part with his right hand, nor should he clean himself with his right hand, nor should he breathe into a vessel (while drinking).
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی قتادہ رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ اپنے والد (حضرت ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی پیشاب کرے تو دائیں ہاتھ سے عضو نہ پکڑے اور نہ دائیں ہاتھ سے استنجاء کرے اور نہ (پانی پیتے وقت) برتن میں سانس لے۔
