Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْنَا السُّورَةَ فِيهَا السَّجْدَةُ، فَيَسْجُدُ وَنَسْجُدُ، حَتَّى مَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُنَا مَوْضِعَ جَبْهَتِهِ.
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who said: When the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) recited in our presence a Surah containing a prostration, he would prostrate and we would also prostrate with him, until some of us could not even find a place for our foreheads to prostrate on, due to the crowding.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہماری موجودگی میں کوئی ایسی سورت تلاوت فرماتے جس میں سجدہ ہوتا تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سجدہ فرماتے اور ہم بھی سجدہ کرتے۔ (ہجوم اتنا ہوتا کہ) ہم میں سے کسی کو پیشانی رکھنے کی جگہ بھی نہ ملتی۔
