Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا، وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: 'I was granted victory through the east wind (As-Saba), and the nation of 'Ad was destroyed by the west wind (Ad-Dabur).'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: مجھے پروا ہوا (مشرقی ہوا) کے ذریعے مدد عطا کی گئی اور قوم عاد پچھوا ہوا (مغربی ہوا) سے ہلاک کی گئی۔
