أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادُ بِالدَّبُورِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «I was aided by the east wind (al-Saba), and the people of 'Ad were destroyed by the west wind (al-Dabur).»
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «مجھے صبا (مشرقی ہوا) سے مدد دی گئی اور عاد کو دبور (مغربی ہوا) سے ہلاک کیا گیا۔»
