حَدَّثَنا الحُسَين بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ أَخْبَرنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرنَا معمر عن أيوب عن مُحَمَّد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ
English Translation
Al-Husayn ibn Mahdi narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us from Ayyub from Muhammad from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Tasbeeh (saying SubhanAllah) is for men, and clapping is for women."
