حَدَّثَنا محمد بن المُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنا إسماعيل بن حكيم عن يونس عن علي بن زيد عن أنس بن حكيم عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ وحَدَّثَناه الْحَسَن بن يحيى الأرزي حَدَّثَنا محمد بن أبي يعقوب الكرماني حَدَّثَنا حسان بن إبراهيم حَدَّثَنا أبان بن تغلب عن الأعمش عن أبي صالحٍ وأبي رَزِين عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ وَحَدَّثَناه جعفر بن مُحَمَّد بن أخي وكيع قال حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن بشر حَدَّثَنا مسعر عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن موسى بن طلحة عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us from Muhammad from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who stated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "When you hear the crowing of roosters, ask Allah for His bounty, for they have seen an angel. And when you hear the braying of donkeys, seek refuge in Allah from the Shaytan, for they have seen a devil." This hadith has been narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) through multiple routes.
