English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Abu Ja'far al-Madani who said: I heard Abu al-Muthanna narrating from Ibn Umar who said: The adhan during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was two by two, and the iqamah was once each, except that the mu'adhdhin would say 'Qad qaamat is-salah' (the prayer has begun) twice.
