وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَتَى الْحَجَرَ فَقَالَ لا تَدْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا إلاَّ أَن تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ أَنْ يُصِيبَكُمْ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ ثُمَّ أَسْرَعَ الْمَشْيَ حَتَّى جَاوَزَ الوادي عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَتَى الْحَجَرَ فَقَالَ لا تَدْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا إلاَّ أَن تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ أَنْ يُصِيبَكُمْ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ ثُمَّ أَسْرَعَ الْمَشْيَ حَتَّى جَاوَزَ الوادي
English Translation
With the same chain of narration: The Prophet (peace be upon him) came to al-Hijr and said: 'Do not enter the dwellings of those who wronged themselves unless you are weeping, lest what befell them should befall you.' Then he hastened his pace until he crossed the valley.'
