حَدَّثنا الحسن بن عرفة قَال حَدَّثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ عَن أَبِي الزُّبَير عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Yahya narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Abu Jamrah, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «Do not use gourds (dubba'), nor earthen jars (hantam), nor vessels coated with pitch (muzaffat).» And he said: «Use water-skins that are tied shut.»
