حَدَّثناه أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبدة عَن ابْنِ عُيَيْنة عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي حَرَّةَ عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَن ابنِ عَبَّاسٍوَلَمْ يُسْنِدْ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي حَرَّةَ غَيْرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَرَوَاهُ مَطَرٌ الْوَرَّاقُ وَأبُو بِشْرٍ عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير فَاقْتَصَرْنَا عَلَى مَنْ ذَكَرْنَا عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير فَاقْتَصَرْنَا عَلَى مَنْ ذَكَرْنَا
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Jamrah, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «I was shown the nations. I saw a prophet with a small group, and a prophet with one or two, and a prophet with no one following him.»
