حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن مَعْمَر قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عَاصِم قَال حَدَّثنا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ عَن أَبِي رَجَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا يزال أمر هذه الأمة مُؤامًّا أَوْ مُقَارِبًا قَالَ جَرِيرٌ أَوْ كَلِمَةٌ تُشْبِهُهَا ما لم يتكلموا في القدر والولدان اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا يزال أمر هذه الأمة مُؤامًّا أَوْ مُقَارِبًا قَالَ جَرِيرٌ أَوْ كَلِمَةٌ تُشْبِهُهَا ما لم يتكلموا في القدر والولدان
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, he said: Abu Asim narrated to us, he said: Jarir ibn Hazim narrated to us, from Abu Raja', from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «The affairs of this ummah will continue to be upright — or close to it —» Jarir said: «or a word similar to it — as long as they do not entrust their leadership to those born out of wedlock.»
