حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَا نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ السَّبْطِ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَحَّافِ دَاوُدَ عَنْ أَبِي عَوْفٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَلِيٍّ يَا عَلِيُّ مَنْ فَارَقَنِي فَارَقَهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ فَارَقَكَ يَا عَلِيُّ فَارَقَنِي وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى إِلَّا عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَلِيٍّ يَا عَلِيُّ مَنْ فَارَقَنِي فَارَقَهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ فَارَقَكَ يَا عَلِيُّ فَارَقَنِي وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى إِلَّا عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ
English Translation
'Ali ibn al-Mundhir and Ibrahim ibn Ziyad narrated to us, they said: 'Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, from 'Amir ibn al-Sibt, from Abu al-Jahhaf Dawud, from Abu 'Awf, from Mu'awiyah ibn Tha'labah, from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to 'Ali: "O 'Ali, whoever separates from me, Allah separates from him. And whoever separates from you, O 'Ali, separates from me." This narration - we do not know it to be narrated except from Abu Dharr through this chain.
