حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَا نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ نَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى كَنْزٍ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ فَقَدْ رَوَاهُ يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ فَخَالَفَ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ وَغَيْرُهُ فِي هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى كَنْزٍ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَهَذَا الْكَلَامُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ فَقَدْ رَوَاهُ يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ فَخَالَفَ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ وَغَيْرُهُ فِي هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna and Muhammad ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, they said: Yahya ibn Hammad narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Sulayman al-A'mash, from Mujahid, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "Shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Paradise?" I said: "Yes indeed." He said: "There is no power and no strength except with Allah (La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah)." This narration has been reported from Abu Dharr through more than one chain. Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated it from al-A'mash from Shahr ibn Hawshab from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanm from Abu Dharr, so Abu 'Awanah and others differed in this narration.
