حَدَّثَنَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَجْمِلُوا فِي طَلَبِ الدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّ كَلًّا مُيَسَّرٌ إِلَى قُدِّرَ مِنْهَا قَالَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِسْنَادٍ أَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِي أَجَلُّ مِنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَجْمِلُوا فِي طَلَبِ الدُّنْيَا فَإِنَّ كَلًّا مُيَسَّرٌ إِلَى قُدِّرَ مِنْهَا قَالَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِسْنَادٍ أَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِي أَجَلُّ مِنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ
English Translation
Some of our companions narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad, from Rabi'ah ibn Abi Abd al-Rahman, from Abd al-Malik ibn Sa'id ibn Suwayd, from Abu Humayd, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "Be moderate in seeking worldly things, for everyone is facilitated toward what has been decreed for him from it." He said: This hadith - we do not know it to be narrated from the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, with a better chain than this chain. We do not know anyone who narrates it with a chain more distinguished than that of Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi with this chain.
