حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَهُ نَحْوَهُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْنَاهُ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ غَيْرِ جُبَيْرٍ بِغَيْرِ هَذَا اللَّفْظِ وَإِنَّمَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ لِأَنَّهُمُ اخْتَلَفُوا عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ وَقَدْ تَابَعَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ طَهْمَانَ عَلَى رِوَايَتِهِ وَتَوْصِيلِهِ
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Abu Ja'far al-Razi narrated to us from Husayn from Jubayr ibn Muhammad ibn Jubayr from his father from his grandfather who said: The moon was split during the time of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and he mentioned it similarly. This hadith has been narrated from Jubayr ibn Mut'im through this chain that we have mentioned, and it has been narrated from other than Jubayr with different wording. We have mentioned it because they differed regarding Husayn, and Abu Ja'far al-Razi corroborated Ibrahim ibn Tahman in his narration and its connected chain.
