أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِرْقَةٌ عَلَى هَذَا الْجَبَلِ وَفِرْقَةٌ عَلَى هَذَا الْجَبَلِ
English Translation
al-Hasan ibn Qaza'ah narrated to us, he said: Husayn ibn Numayr narrated to us from Husayn ibn Abd al-Rahman from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im from his father (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The moon split during the time of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) into two parts—one part on this mountain and one part on this mountain.
Urdu Translation
حسن بن قزعہ نے ہمیں خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا: حصین بن نمیر نے ہمیں حصین بن عبدالرحمٰن سے محمد بن جبیر بن مطعم سے ان کے والد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے خبر دی، انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے زمانے میں چاند دو حصوں میں بٹ گیا — ایک حصہ اس پہاڑ پر اور ایک حصہ اس پہاڑ پر۔
