قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ الدَّانَاجِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ يُصَلِّي يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ يُصَلِّي يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ
English Translation
Abu Zakariyya and others informed us... al-Shafi'i said: If the day of Eid is not known until the afternoon, they should go out and pray it the next morning. A hadith was narrated about this.
