أَخْبَرَنَا الْإِمَامُ أَبُو الْفَتْحِ الْعُمَرِيُّ أنبأ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الشَّرِيحِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْبَغَوِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ أنبأ شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الْحَكَمَ عَنِ التَّرَبُّعِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَكَرِهَهُ وَقَالَ أَحْسَبُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَرِهَهُ
English Translation
Imam Abu al-Fath al-Umari informed us, Abd al-Rahman al-Sharihi informed us, Abu al-Qasim al-Baghawi narrated to us, Ali ibn al-Ja'd narrated to us, Shu'bah informed us. He said: I asked al-Hakam about sitting cross-legged during prayer, and he disliked it and said: I think Ibn Abbas disliked it.
