أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ قُلْتُ مَنْ صُهَيْبٌ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ هُوَ وَغُلَامٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ فَمَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَلَمْ يَنْصَرِفْ لِذَلِكَ وَجَاءَتْ جَارِيَتَانِ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَأَخَذَتَا بِرُكْبَتَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَفَرَّعَ بَيْنَهُمَا يَعْنِي بِذَلِكَ فَرَّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَمْ يَنْصَرِفْ لِذَلِكَ
English Translation
Abu Bakr ibn Furak informed us, Abdullah ibn Ja'far informed us, Yunus ibn Habib narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from al-Hakam from Yahya ibn al-Jazzar from Suhayb — I said: Who is Suhayb? He said: A man from the people of Basrah — from Ibn Abbas that he was on a donkey with a boy from Banu Hashim. They passed in front of the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was praying, and he did not turn away for that. And two girls from Banu Abd al-Muttalib came and grabbed the knees of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he separated them — meaning he pushed them apart — and did not turn away for that.
