أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُرْفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الشَّافِعِيُّ إِمْلَاءً ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي الرَّازِيَّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ بَهِيمَةُ الْأَنْعَامِ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُمْ وَذَكَاتُهُ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ
English Translation
Abu al-Qasim Abd al-Rahman ibn Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah al-Hurfi informed us in Baghdad, Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Ibrahim al-Shafi'i narrated to us by dictation, Abu Yahya Ja'far ibn Muhammad, meaning al-Razi, narrated to us, Sahl ibn Uthman narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Za'idah narrated to us from Idris, from Atiyyah, from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "The livestock have been made lawful for you, and its slaughter is the slaughter of its mother."
