وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ قَالَا أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مَحْمَوَيْهِ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ ثنا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ قَالَ ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ وَاضِعًا قَدَمَهُ عَلَى صِفَاحَيْهِمَا يُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ فَذَبَحَهُمَا يَعْنِي بِيَدِهِ
English Translation
And Abu Ali al-Rudhbari and Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, they said: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Mahmawayh informed us, Ja'far ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed two salt-and-pepper colored, horned rams, placing his foot on their sides, pronouncing the name of Allah and saying Allahu Akbar, then he slaughtered them - meaning with his own hand.
