أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبِسْطَامِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أنبأ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ وَالْحَوْضِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورَ سَمِعَ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ؓ يَقُولُ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ نَأْكُلُ مَعَهُ الْجَرَادُ هَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ الْبِسْطَامِيِّ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ عَبْدَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ؓ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْجَرَادِ فَقَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ سِتَّ غَزَوَاتٍ أَوْ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ كُنَّا نَأْكُلُهُ
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say when going to bed: O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth and Lord of the Mighty Throne, our Lord and the Lord of everything, Splitter of the grain and the seed, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion, I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock You hold. You are the First, and there is nothing before You; You are the Last, and there is nothing after You; You are the Outward, and there is nothing above You; You are the Inward, and there is nothing below You. Settle our debt and enrich us from poverty.
