English Translation
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated regarding the verse 'Indeed, We have given you a clear conquest' [48:1]: It refers to the conquest of al-Hudaybiyyah. A man said: Congratulations, O Messenger of Allah, this is for you, but what about us? So Allah revealed: 'That He may admit the believing men and believing women to Gardens beneath which rivers flow' [48:5]. Shu'bah said: I came to Kufa and narrated this from Qatadah from Anas. Then I came to Basra and mentioned it to Qatadah, and he said: The first part is from Anas, but the second part about 'That He may admit the believing men and believing women' is from Ikrimah.
