أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ أَبِي حَامِدِ الْمُقْرِئُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَاضِي وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ جَابِرٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْمِقْدَادُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ الْكِنْدِيُّ ؓ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَبْقَى عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ بَيْتُ مَدَرٍ وَلَا وَبَرٍ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ كَلِمَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ إِمَّا بِعِزِّ عَزِيزٍ وَإِمَّا بِذُلِّ ذَ��ِيلٍ إِمَّا يُعِزُّهُمُ اللهُ فَيَجْعَلُهُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ فَيَعِزُّوا بِهِ وَإِمَّا يُذِلُّهُمْ فَيَدِينُونَ لَهُ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz, Abu Muhammad ibn Abi Hamid al-Muqri, Abu Bakr al-Qadi, and Abu Sadiq ibn Abi al-Fawaris informed us > Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub > al-Abbas ibn al-Walid ibn Mazid > my father told me, he said: I heard Ibn Jabir > Sulaym ibn Amir, who said: Al-Miqad ibn al-Aswad al-Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "There will not remain on the face of the earth a house of mud or hair except that Allah will cause the word of Islam to enter it — either with the honor of one who is honored or the humiliation of one who is humiliated. Either Allah honors them and makes them among its people, so they are honored by it, or He humiliates them and they submit to it."
