أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ عَنْ مَيْمُونَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ كُلَّهَا لِي بِجِزْيَةٍ خَمْسَةِ دَرَاهِمَ أُقِرُّ فِيهَا بِالصَّغَارِ عَلَى نَفْسِي
English Translation
Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us from Abu al-Abbas, from al-Hasan, from Yahya ibn Adam, from Ibn al-Mubarak, from Ja'far ibn Burqan, from Maymun ibn Mihran, from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I would not be pleased if all the land were mine with a jizya of five dirhams if I had to accept humiliation upon myself.
