أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ نا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ نا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ رُبَيِّعَ بِنْتَ مُعَوِّذٍ جَاءَتْ هِيَ وَعَمُّهَا إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا اخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا فِي زَمَنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ فَلَمْ يُنْكِرْهُ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ؓ عِدَّتُهَا عِدَّةُ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ
English Translation
Nafi' narrated that al-Rubayyi' bint Mu'awwidh came with her uncle to Abdullah ibn Umar and told him that she had sought khul' from her husband during the time of Uthman ibn 'Affan (may Allah be pleased with him). This reached Uthman, and he did not object to it. Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'Her waiting period is the waiting period of a divorced woman.'
