أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمْدَانَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي نا شَاذُّ بْنُ فَيَّاضٍ نا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَى امْرَأَةٍ لَا تَشْكُرُ لِزَوْجِهَا وَهِيَ لَا تَسْتَغْنِي عَنْهُ هَكَذَا أُتِيَ بِهِ مَرْفُوعًا وَالصَّحِيحُ أَنَّهُ مِنْ قَوْلِ عَبْدِ اللهِ غَيْرُ مَرْفُوعٍ
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us... from Abdullah bin Amr, that the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Allah does not look at a woman who is ungrateful to her husband while she cannot do without him. This was reported as marfu' (attributed to the Prophet), but the correct view is that it is the statement of Abdullah (bin Amr), not attributed to the Prophet.
