English Translation
Ibn Ishaq said: Among those whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) released from the prisoners of Badr without ransom were al-Muttalib ibn Hantab al-Makhzumi - who was needy and so was not ransomed, and the Messenger of Allah showed him grace - and Abu 'Azzah al-Jumahi, who said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my daughters!' So he had mercy on him and showed him grace. And Sayfi ibn 'Abid al-Makhzumi, whom the Messenger of Allah took a pledge from, but he did not fulfill it.
