حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ لِأَهْلِهَا أَوْ مِيرَاثٌ لِأَهْلِهَا.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, from al-Nadr ibn Anas, from Bashir ibn Nahik, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The 'umra [a lifetime gift of property] is permissible for the one granted it," or "it is an inheritance for the one granted it."
