English Translation
Isma'il told us: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn Ukaymah al-Junda'i, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led a prayer in which he recited aloud. When he finished, he said: "Did any of you recite along with me just now?" A man among the people said: "I did." He said: "Indeed I have been saying: 'Why am I being contended with over the Qur'an?'"
