حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي رُهْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ تَطَيَّبَتْ ثُمَّ خَرَجَتْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ لِيُوجَدَ رِيحُهَا لَمْ يُقْبَلْ مِنْهَا صَلَاةٌ حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ اغْتِسَالَهَا مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, he said: Sufyan told us, from Asim ibn Ubaydullah, from Ubayd, the freedman of Abu Ruhm, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Any woman who perfumes herself and then goes out to the mosque so that her scent may be noticed, her prayer will not be accepted from her until she performs a full ritual bath (ghusl) like her bath from major ritual impurity."
