حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنَا خَيْرُ الشُّرَكَاءِ مَنْ عَمِلَ لِي عَمَلًا أَشْرَكَ فِيهِ غَيْرِي فَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِيءٌ وَهُوَ لِلَّذِي أَشْرَكَ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Shu'bah, who said: al-Ala' ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said - meaning that Allah the Mighty and Sublime said: "I am the best of partners. Whoever performs a deed in which he associates others with Me, I am free of it, and it belongs entirely to the one he associated."
