حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِي يَطْعَنُ نَفْسَهُ إِنَّمَا يَطْعَنُهَا فِي النَّارِ وَالَّذِي يَتَقَحَّمُ فِيهَا يَتَقَحَّمُ فِي النَّارِ وَالَّذِي يَخْنُقُ نَفْسَهُ يَخْنُقُهَا فِي النَّارِ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Ibn Ajlan, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him): "The one who stabs himself will be stabbing himself in the Fire, and the one who throws himself into it will throw himself into the Fire, and the one who strangles himself will strangle himself in the Fire."
