حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ الْفَأْرَةُ مِمَّا مُسِخَ وَآيَةُ ذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ يُوضَعُ لَهَا لَبَنُ اللِّقَاحِ فَلَا تَقْرَبُهُ وَإِذَا وُضِعَ لَهَا لَبَنُ الْغَنَمِ أَصَابَتْ مِنْهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ كَعْبٌ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَأُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيَّ التَّوْرَاةُ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah who said: "The mouse is from those that were transformed, and the sign of that is that when camel's milk is placed before it, it does not approach it, but when goat's milk is placed before it, it partakes of it." Ka'b said to him: "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He said: "Was the Torah revealed to me?"
