حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ رَشْحُهُمْ الْمِسْكُ وَوُقُودُهُمْ الْأَلُوَّةُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا الْأَلُوَّةُ قَالَ الْعُودُ الْهِنْدِيُّ الْجَيِّدُ.
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah said: I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "The people of Paradise, their perspiration will be musk, and their incense will be aloeswood." Yahya said: I asked Ibn Lahi'ah: "O Abu Abd al-Rahman, what is aloeswood?" He said: "The good Indian oud (agarwood)."
