حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَتَبَ كِتَابًا بَيْنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ عَلَى أَنْ يَعْقِلُوا مَعَاقِلَهُمْ وَيَفْدُوا عَانِيَهُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالْإِصْلَاحِ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.
English Translation
Nasr ibn Bab narrated from Hajjaj from Amr ibn Shu'ayb from his father from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wrote a document between the Muhajirun and the Ansar stipulating that they should pay blood money collectively and ransom their prisoners with kindness and fairness among the Muslims.
