حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَرَاكَ تُزَاحِمُ عَلَى هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ إِنْ أَفْعَلْ فَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مَسْحَهُمَا يَحُطَّانِ الْخَطَايَا.
English Translation
Rawh told us: Hammam told us, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Ubayd ibn 'Umayr, from his father, who said: I said to Ibn 'Umar, "I see you pressing forward to reach these two corners." He said, "If I do so, I have heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Touching them wipes away sins.'"
