Arabic (Original)
وَلَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَئِنْ أَنْتُمْ اتَّبَعْتُمْ أَذْنَابَ الْبَقَرِ وَتَبَايَعْتُمْ بِالْعِينَةِ وَتَرَكْتُمْ الْجِهَادَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَيُلْزِمَنَّكُمْ اللَّهُ مَذَلَّةً فِي أَعْنَاقِكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا تُنْزَعُ مِنْكُمْ حَتَّى تَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى مَا كُنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَتُوبُونَ إِلَى اللَّهِ.
English Translation
And I indeed heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: If you follow the tails of cattle, and engage in usurious sale transactions, and abandon jihad in the way of Allah, Allah will impose upon you a humiliation that will not be removed from you until you return to what you were upon and repent to Allah.
