English Translation
Abdullah told us: my father told me from his book: Hushaym ibn Bashir told us, from Ubaydullah — and Abu Mu'awiya, Ubaydullah informed us — from Nafi', from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Khaybar assigned two shares to the horse and one share to the man. Abu Mu'awiya said, "He assigned to the man and his horse three shares: one share for him and two shares for his horse."
