English Translation

Ya'qub told us: my father told us, from his father, from Abu Ubayda ibn Abdullah, from his father, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was, in the two rak'ahs — and sometimes he said "the first two" — as if he were on hot coals. He said: I said to my father, "Until he stands?" He said, "Until he stands." My father said: Nuh ibn Yazid also told us this: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd informed us, he said: my father told me, from Abu Ubayda ibn Abdullah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was, in the two rak'ahs, as if he were on hot coals.
