حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَحْتَ أَبِي عَمْرِو بْنِ حَفْصِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ فَطَلَّقَهَا آخِرَ ثَلَاثِ تَطْلِيقَاتٍ فَزَعَمَتْ أَنَّهَا جَاءَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسْتَفْتَتْهُ فِي خُرُوجِهَا مِنْ بَيْتِهَا فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَنْتَقِلَ إِلَى بَيْتِ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ الْأَعْمَى فَأَبَى مَرْوَانُ أَنْ يُصَدِّقَ حَدِيثَ فَاطِمَةَ فِي خُرُوجِ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ مِنْ بَيْتِهَا وَقَالَ عُرْوَةُ أَنْكَرَتْ عَائِشَةُ ذَلِكَ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ.
English Translation
Hajjaj told us, he said Layth - meaning Ibn Sa'd - told us, he said Uqayl ibn Khalid told me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Fatimah bint Qays, that she informed him that she was married to Abu Amr ibn Hafs ibn al-Mughirah, and he divorced her with the last of three divorces. She claimed that she came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and sought his ruling regarding her leaving her house, and he ordered her to move to the house of the blind Ibn Umm Maktum. Marwan refused to believe Fatimah's account concerning the divorced woman leaving her house, and Urwah said: Aishah disapproved of that from Fatimah bint Qays.
