حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَيْدَ سَنُوطَا يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسٍ وَقَدْ قَالَ خَوْلَةُ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةُ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عِنْدَ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ بَيْتَهُ فَتَذَاكَرُوا الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ مَنْ أَخَذَهَا بِحَقِّهَا بُورِكَ لَهُ فِيهَا وَرُبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللَّهِ وَمَالِ رَسُولِهِ لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun told us, he said Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Ansari informed us that Umar ibn Kathir ibn Aflah informed him that he heard Ubayd Sanuta narrating that he heard Khawlah bint Qays - and Khawlah al-Ansariyyah, who was the wife of Hamzah ibn Abd al-Muttalib - narrating that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered upon Hamzah in his house, and they discussed the worldly life, so the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed the worldly life is green and sweet; whoever takes it by its right will be blessed in it; and how many a one who wades unlawfully into the wealth of Allah and the wealth of His Messenger will have the Fire on the Day he meets Allah."
