English Translation
Waki' told us, he said: Shu'bah [said]: I came to Yahya ibn al-Husayn and asked him, and he said: My grandmother told me, she said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say, while standing at Arafah: "If a mutilated Abyssinian slave is placed in authority over you, then listen to him and obey, so long as he leads you by the Book of Allah, the Exalted."
