حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ هِشَامٍ يَعْنِي الدَّسْتُوَائِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنَامُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ وَلَكِنْ كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِثْلَ وُضُوءِ الصَّلَاةِ.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, from Hisham, meaning al-Dastuwa'i, he said: Yahya narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, he said: I asked Aisha, "Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sleep while in a state of major ritual impurity?" She said, "Yes, but he would perform ablution like the ablution for prayer."
