English Translation
He said: I read to Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from Abdullah ibn Yazid and Abu al-Nadr, the freedman of Umar ibn Ubaydullah, from Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray sitting, reciting while seated; and when about thirty or forty verses remained of his recitation, he would stand and recite while standing, then bow, then prostrate; then he would do the like of that in the second rak'ah.
