English Translation
Aisha said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, during the illness of which he died, "Pour over me water from seven water-skins whose ties have not been undone, so that I may feel some relief and give the people my final instructions." Aisha said: So we sat him in a copper basin belonging to Hafsah and poured water over him from them, until he began to gesture to us that we had done enough, and then he went out. [It is also related that Ibn Jurayj asked Ata' what was intended by the words "Glory be to You, and praise be to You; there is no god but You," and Ibn Abi Mulaykah related from Aisha that she had missed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) one night and thought as before.]
