حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ كَيْفَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ فَإِذَا حَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'ba told us, from al-Hakam, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, who said: I asked Aisha: 'What did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, use to do?' She said: 'He would be occupied in the service of his household, and when the time for prayer came, he would go out and pray.'
