English Translation
Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us from Sa'id ibn Yazid from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, that Abu Basra set out during Ramadan from Alexandria; his food was brought to him [to break his fast], and it was said to him, "Our dwellings have not yet vanished from sight." He said, "Do you dislike the sunna of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" He said: So we continued breaking our fast until they reached such-and-such a place.
