English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Mu'awiya ibn al-Hakam, that the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Messenger of Allah, among us are men who take omens. He said: That is something you find in yourselves, so let it not turn you away. They said: And among us are men who go to fortune-tellers. He said: Then do not go to a fortune-teller.
