Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ الْأَحْدَبِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ قِيلَ لِحُذَيْفَةَ إِنَّ رَجُلًا يَنُمُّ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ نَمَّامٌ.
English Translation
It was narrated to us by Hammad ibn Khalid, from Mahdi, from Wasil al-Ahdab, from Abu Wa'il, who said: It was said to Hudhayfah, "There is a man who spreads talebearing gossip." Hudhayfah said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "A talebearer will not enter Paradise."
